A native Midwesterner, I earned my M.S. in Art History and Criticism from Pratt Institute in 2002 and my M.F.A. from the Art Institute of Boston in 2012.
An active gallerist, curator, and artist, I work within the city to further the engagement of artists and community members. Because the potential impact of the arts within a social sphere is so powerful, I focus on fostering an integration of artists and non-artists.
I’ve produced exhibits for the Peoria Art Guild, Peoria Riverfront Museum, Prairie Center of the Arts, and Backspace Collective in Peoria, Illinois. I’ve also has written for the Whiskey City Collaborative in Peoria and taught at Bradley University and Illinois College. As an artist, I’ve exhibited and lectured across Illinois (and beyond).
I’m currently living and working with Dawn Gettler in Marshalltown, Iowa.
